Description Stefan Neufeind 2015-08-18 21:40:48 UTC
When changing the framebuffer-size (using xrand --scale ...) currently plasmashell doesn't seem to show anymore. I have no background and also can't see the default-panel (on the lower border). But plasmashell still runs. Killing and restarting it the environment looks completely normal again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Normal kde-start
2. xrandr --output eDP1 --scale 0.6x0.6

Actual Results:
plasmashell does not show anymore

Expected Results:
plasmashell should still look as before, just with resized framebuffer-size

This worked until recently. However I can't say which component-update might have broken it.
Is there some additional log that I can maybe pull during framebuffer-resize to help track this down?

Sorry for ignoring this report.

xrandr --scale has never been something that worked properly and it's not something we can support.
