Screen recording of broken behavior
I recorded a comparison between the broken stabilizer and other, workings forms of smoothing and no smoothing.
Hi Storm, I can confirm the behaviour, but didn't we add that checkbox exactly to prevent this issue? Well, it doesn't happen with weighted smoothing, so it is not supposed to happen I think... Anyway, just wanted to mention I just tested and the issue is still there with freshly built 2.9 and a Wacom tablet instead of the crappy Genius I used when I reported this. I can reproduce this also with Krita 4.2.0-pre-alpha (git 37c4f13) on Ubuntu 14.04 Unity.

Hi,
here is a screenshot comparing the results between the "Stabile sensors" option disabled and enabled (Krita 4.2.0-pre-alpha (git 4fb7b5b) and (bottom) Krita 3.3.3. Instant Preview Mode was OFF).
Re-confirming this for 5.2.6. As Halla pointed out, though, the "Stabilize sensors" check box is there to solve this issue. |
