Simple KMyMoney file demonstrating the problem
The attached file is the result of going through the above steps.
Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved. Still reproducible in 5.1.1 following the steps in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350905#c0. > It's also not possible to change the currency of existing categories.
This is by design and will not be changed as it would screw up your accounting figures since a change of the currency will affect all prior transactions.
Creating a second set of categories in the new currency (not a whole new file) is the only way to go.
