I use xkb Shift+Shift shortcut to switch between keyboard layout. Additionally, I need Ctrl+Alt+K for Emacs. Therefore, I remove this shortcut from KDE's list of global keyboard shortcuts. I.e. I set action "switch to next keyboard layout" to have no shortcuts.

This works. However, after some time (and perhaps after some other changes in settings) the shortcut is automatically back. I.e. action "switch to next keyboard layout" again has Ctrl+Alt+K as its shortcut.

I wasn't able to notice any particular pattern when exactly this happens, but it has already happened three times.

Reproducible: Sometimes

It seems this always happens after a new login, at least.

Setting shortcut to something else doesn't help, i.e. it's not "add default in case there is no shortcut", it actually erases any customization.

Isn't this a duplicate of Bug#347352 ?

Should be fixed in Plasma 5.4.0 then, btw.

No response in 6 months, so I'm assuming it is a duplicate...
