Thanks for your report. This feature checking for removable devices has been temporarily disabled for the 15.08.0 release that will soon be out. However, I see where the problem is and will fix it when we re-introduce the feature - probably in 15.08.1 regards Jem, can you please try with a stable Kdenlive 16.04.2 to see whether your problem has been fixed or not? If the bug is fixed then I would like to ask you to close this report as RESOLVED. Thank you very much for your cooperation! Can't reproduce the bug anymore. Thanks! |
Created attachment 93789 [details] Dialog showing funny error message. Kdenlive version 15.04.3. The program says it cannot create the directory /home/jem/kdenlive. Steps to reproduce: Try to add a video clip from a removable drive, click on "Copy to project folder" in the "File on a Removable Device" warning dialog. Result: a dialog pops up saying "Cannot create directory /home/jem/kdenlive" and no movie clip is copied.
