Description Sam Muirhead 2015-07-24 11:18:34 UTC
Problem outlined in forum post here: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=265&t=127375
I'm using daily builds (currently 2015-07-22) because I had performance issues with the sunab and kubuntu-ci versions.

Kdenlive crashes very regularly, it does not seem related to any particular activity or effect.
I have two tracks of video. One track's audio is muted, the other track has two audio effects applied (Volume & Normaiise). There are no video effects.
The video is 25fps 1080p AVCHD h264 footage, which had been playing back without problems two days ago.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open daily build with ./start-kdenlive
2. playback and edit in timeline.
3. hit Ctrl+S every 30 seconds or so :)

Actual Results:
kdenlive crashes.

Expected Results:
kdenlive does not crash.

System:
Ubuntu 15.04
Lenovo s440
Intel® Core™ i7-4500U CPU @ 1.80GHz × 4
7,5 GiB RAM
Intel HD440, AMD Radeon HD 8670
Linux 3.19 lowlatency kernel

Sam, can you please try with a stable Kdenlive 16.04.2 to see whether your problem has been fixed or not? If the bug is fixed then I would like to ask you to close this report as RESOLVED. Thank you very much for your cooperation!
