When the PC starts up and the OS has already booted, the user is presented with the account login screen. After user credentials are entered and the login button is pressed, the screen goes black without actually displaying the intermediary screen that shows the progress bar indicating how much of the user's session has been loaded so far. After a while in this state, the widgets of the user's desktop, sys tray, etc. start to get added/rendered slowly until everything's displayed properly.

If I end my current session (i.e. Application Menu >> Leave >> Log Out) and try to log in again, then the progress screen is displayed normally and then fades away when the session has loaded and is ready for normal use.

Note that this incorrect behaviour shows up specifically when the PC is powered on from being completely shut down, or just restarted --i.e. when logging in the first time only. Ending the session and then logging back in again, without restarting the PC, does not cause the issue.

During this time, the PC gives the impression of being hung/frozen and unresponsive, although that's really not the case.

I'm using Kubuntu 15.04 64-bit (upgraded from 14.10, not a clean install) using the Breeze theme.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Power on (or just restart) your PC it and let it reach the user login screen (Do NOT just end your current session without at least restarting.)
2. Enter your login credentials and login normally
3. Not Profit

Actual Results:  
The screen goes black until the desktop starts to get rendered instead of displaying the "session loading" screen

Expected Results:  
The "session loading" screen and animation should be displayed. This works correctly if the user ends the current session by logging out and then logs back in (without restarting/shutting down PC).

I've observed that the session loading screen shows up normally whenever I've had to restart the sddm service. I have not tried this prior to the first attempted login, so it might be similar to when the user logs out and back in again.
