After downloading brush sets from Krita's Resource page (wolthera painting pack, wolthera filter brush bundle- I noticed problem after second pack was downloaded. Putting bundles as inactive did not resolve crashing)  Krita quits unexpectedly whenever I try to open a new document. Possibly related: When reopening Krita it offers to open an autosave document even when that document was not open when Krita quit, and even though I have already opened and saved it. I can work on existing files, but not new ones.

Also, version is 2.9.6 not 2.9.4

Hi Elizabeth, 

Could you try with a later build? I've fixed some issues with the autosave dialog since then. You can also try to clean out your config directory, which is Library/Preferences/KDE/ in your home directory.

I'm sorry, but the bug report has not enough information for us to work with. In the meantime, we have released 3.0.
