Thank you for reporting this bug in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version? If you can reproduce the issue, please change the status to "CONFIRMED" when replying. Thank you! @Justin Zobel, yes, I can still reproduce it, but with a bit different steps, using version 4.1.21123 (Kubuntu 22.04). Current steps to reproduce: 1. run kompare without arguments; 2. change color in dialog; 3. compare files. Kompare will use previous color set in view, but selected colors are not forgotten (settings still show old ones until opening another instance) and are used for the next diff. Changing colors in settings while the diff is displayed applies them as expected. |
