This is still not implemented in KDE 3.1.x, and would certainly be welcome. Of course, it would obey the open new pages in new tabs/background tabs/new window preferences. *** Bug 30253 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 82249 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** From the duplicated bug #35028 : Which could be the best way to send form to another tab ? I've thought about two: clicking with the middle button of the mouse woud be a good idea. You could also use Ctrl+click. Both ways are already implmented to open links in a background tab in konqueror, so I feel like that's the best way. I've also thought that the buttons might have a contextual menu for this feature, but I guess that it would be innecesary and even more difficult to implement. So I think that we'd better forget it :-). *** Bug 88359 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Hey, I would say that this wish is already confirmed ? Still valid for my KDE 3.3.2. Still not implemented in KDE 3.5.8. A very useful feature, indeed. Still not implemented in KDE 4.1. Dear user, KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6. Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component. We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes. For security issues, please see: https://kde.org/info/security/ Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML. Greetings Christoph Cullmann |
