When a filled circle is selected on a layer and then scaled up, an outline of the original shape is left behind.Please check the blue outline in this image

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Make a circle and fill on empty layer
2.Scale up the circle while selected

Not sure, but I suspect it might be related to some extent with this other report: Bug 344815.

Even rotating a square gives a line of colour disortion on the edges, not always visible but with some colours its very evident

While the CPU canvas is still present for people who abolutely need it, we won't be updating it anymore. In particular, this issue basically has been defeating us since 2006. I don't think there's a good solution, other than switching to the CPU canvas.
