File to reproduce disappearing characters bug
I can reproduce this issue with Kdenlive 18.08-beta18 (AppImage). I've attached a minimal example: the characters are displayed in the "Clip Monitor" but not in "Project Monitor" nor in a rendered file.
Appears to still exist. Well, to me it seems like the charcters cannot be seen because you use an almost black font color on a black background. Please test using the stable AppImages (18.08.1): https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ Huh, how did that happen? I am 99% sure that I saved the file with bright red text, but apparently I uploaded one that contains near-black text... Anyways, when trying this again with the stable 18.08.1 AppImage, I cannot reproduce this bug. In fact, even when I tried to create a new minimal project with the refactoring release, I couldn't get the title to disappear. I think that I somehow screwed up when triaging this bug yesterday, sorry for that. It appears to me that this bug is now fixed, but it'd be great if @rh- could confirm this. (Also, small off-topic question: Should I generally use the refactoring release of the "normal" one when triaging Kdenlive bugs?) Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information as soon as possible and set the bug status as REPORTED. Due to regular bug tracker maintenance, if the bug is still in NEEDSINFO status with no change in 30 days the bug will be closed as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME due to lack of needed information. For more information about our bug triaging procedures please read the wiki located here: https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Bug_triaging If you have already provided the requested information, please mark the bug as REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to be confirmed. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! Seems like this is fixed. Please reopen if you can still reproduce this issue with a newer version of Kdenlive and attach a sample project. |
