Description j.gjorgji 2015-07-06 20:03:07 UTC
Starting torrents via magnet links leads to massive memory leaks, up to 500MB in around 15 minutes, this behavior persists after restart.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open magnet link
2.
3.

Actual Results:
KTorrent starts using huge amounts of memory.

Expected Results:
KTorrent memory stays reasonably sane and at a consistent level.

It looks similar to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333975 , however the UI is responsive and it doesn't crash instead it just uses more memory until the system is thrashing.
