I'd like more info on why you think konversation is involved. The backtrace shows us crashing in the graphic driver, redrawing one of the plasma windows. Might be a usesful clue to hunting this down, might be just coincidence. Could you also try upgrading/downgrading Mesa to see if that fixes the problem? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 349519 *** I think konversation is involved as the system runs fine until konversation is launched. Thereafter the errors occur, regardless of whether konversation is in use or closed to the task bar. Completely quitting konversation stops the errors. I have tried using quassel-monolithic as a work around which seems not to provoke the segfaults, although for what ever reason "tab to complete" on Nicks doesn't work. I will test your suggestions regarding the graphics driver tomorrow as its 00:33 here in the UK regards Mark *** Bug 349849 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
