Yes, I agree it's minor, but it makes KDE appear unpolished as things unexpectedly don't work as they should. The KCalc example is a good one. I've actually switched to a different calculator program because I cannot add numbers without clicking! +1 on the bug. I don't know if the keycodes changed, but + and * don't work in KCalc. On a laptop keyboard, it is rather annoying to have to use the mouse for those keys. This issue has been around for a while, which surprises me. Bug 135468 seems to be related. kcalc is bug #350947, original bug *likely* fixed in kglobalaccel 5.16 and up. Using the Global Keyboard Shortcuts module, I have set the walk through windows command as "Alt+`", and the walk through windows reverse commad as "Alt+~". When trying to use these shortcuts though, the "Alt+~" sequence seems to be never received, and the windows walk through in their normal order, rather than reversed. This bug is not specific to this specific command. Setting any item to the "Alt+~" shortcut does not work. "Ctrl+~" also does not appear to work. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Using Global Keyboard Shortcuts menu, set some command to "Alt+~" 2. Press "Alt+~" ("Alt+Shift+`") 3. Notice that nothing happens Actual Results: Nothing. Expected Results: The shortcut should be activated.
