Description Edward 2015-06-27 19:09:36 UTC
If pam is set to ask two passwords, kdesu get freezed after the first correct one.

In order to reproduce my example is:
Add as first line in /etc/pam.d/system-auth:
auth requisite pam_oath.so usersfile=/etc/oath.users window=10 digits=6

It's just using a PAM module that let you use a one time password.
As you see it's 'requisite' but not 'sufficient'. So you will go on if the one time password is correct, asking your root password.
In kdesu instead of going to root password, it freezes: you can not input anymore, it's blocked.

Reproducible: Always

I have the same issue, also with the same configuration line. If I had the time, I'd try to fix this, but right now all I can do is confirm the problem. It appears to time out, given a couple minutes, to return a 'permission denied'.

In case someone has doubts about it, ordinary sudo in my terminal works, as does my ssh configuration.
