The dialog which appears on first start of Kdenlive can be resized horizontally but not vertically. Given it is pretty small to begin with (high dpi), this makes it quite difficult to use.

The first start dialog has been rewritten for Kdenlive 16.08 and does not have this problem, closing the bug report.
