Description Nick Cross 2015-06-17 18:21:41 UTC
It would be useful if it was possible to copy an images full path location (or even its directory location). I think much of this information is held in the metadata panel - could it be copyable from there?
This would be useful if e.g. I wanted to copy the path so I could attach the file to an email etc.

It is possible to copy the path by right clicking on the path from "File Properties".
See attached screen-shot.

Just use copy action from icon view context menu. go to a text editor. Path is extracted from clipboard.

To copy and paste all metadata info through clipboard, in metadata pannel, go to wheel on top/right side. There is a context menu with copy to clipboard.

Else, with kipiplugins SendImages tool, you can attach automatically a text file with all lead metadata from image.

Thanks to Paul and Gilles for replying.

I did try right click but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work on my 4.10.0 Fedora 22 version.

While i can see an option in the metadata paneI I can't see one in the "File Properties" panel.
