Description Enno Köster 2015-06-17 13:15:16 UTC
summary pretty much says it. upon changing directory the window title normally changes. with split view i can get the title "stuck".

when i close the right side of the split view, then the title keeps showing the current folder name as it always does.
when i close the left side, then the title stops changing to whatever folder i happen to change to.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. split view
2. click into left half (to move focus there)
3. close split view
4. change to different folder

Actual Results:
window title stays as it was before step 4.

Expected Results:
window title should change to the name of the folder one changed to in step 4.

Dolphin
Version 15.04.0
Using KDE Development Platform 4.14.9

workaround: open and close the split view again. the undesired behavior stops when closing a split while focus is on the right side.

Still the case: dolphin 16.04.1, KF5, archlinux

Still the case in Dolphin 17.12.2 on Fedora 27.

The fun thing is that it restarts updating if you SPLIT and the close the RIGHT side.
