i was installed updates yesterday, but today showme updates avaible, and wen i try to install updates its showme thats its update,

Reproducible: Sometimes


Actual Results:  
go to uptadates, its show 12 updates avaible 
select option to update
moun said is up to date

Same here.. The  numbers in the notification have little to do with the reality.

Notification: 24 packages from which 8 security updates.
reality: 4 system updates 
same from the commandline apt-get upgrade.  So where the 24 packages come from is unclear.

Will be fixed in 5.6 branch, it's also fixed in 5.5 if you have a brave packagers as well, as the change was pushed to the branch as well, even though without releases planned.
