Description Rebuitti 2015-06-12 22:09:36 UTC
If I turn on airplane mode, or if for any reason I turn off the wifi it will fail to turn on again and I'll have to reboot the system. I have tried to turn it on via terminal but it also fails to do so. Sometimes the connection fails out of the blue and I have to reboot the system to have it back.

Here's some information on my Ethernet controller:

cleber@Rebuitti-Kubuntu:~$ lspci -nnk | grep net -A2
03:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4401-B0 100Base-TX [14e4:170c] (rev 02)
        Subsystem: Dell Device [1028:01f1]
        Kernel driver in use: b44
cleber@Rebuitti-Kubuntu:~$

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. click on the wireless icon on the taskbar
2. Deactivate Wifi or Activate Airplane mode
3. Undo the last step

Actual Results:
The Wifi is turned off, but never comes back again. Even through terminal commands.

Expected Results:
It should have tuned of my wireless connection and then when I turned it on again, it should reconnect or give me the option to chose another WiFi.
