Can you try running kdiamond under valgrind? i.e. make sure you install valgrind, then open a konsole and type valgrind kdiamond it'll be much slower, does it crash? If so can you attach the output of valgrind? Created attachment 93581 [details]

Hi Albert, please find attached the valgrind trace. Regards Alex does opensuse have debug packages? can you install the debug packages for the kf5notifications package and do the valgrind thing again?
