Please see the Gimp-file with 2 layers (original/with filter).

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Load a letter boxed HD-Movie. 
2. Use filter "Crop, Scale and Position" to "overwrite" the existing black bars (whith clean black).
3. The difference is immediately visible by turning the filter on and off.
4. Happens only when cutting the top and bottom.

Actual Results:  
Shadow at the bottom (is also exported).

Expected Results:  
No color change/shadows.

Here are cuts from the screenshot with effect on (right) and off (left) with values raised to make it more visible (I hope) - see the line in the middle. The unchanged image is the result only.

It's hard to reproduce for me but it is possible.

I was not able to reproduce using: color clip, color clip rendered to video, noise filter, noise filter rendered to video, colorful image, png or jpg ( http://i.imgur.com/qqgVc7y.jpg ).

Axel, can you please try with a recent stable version 16.04.2 of Kdenlive, as well as a recent MLT 6.2.0+? If the bug has been fixed, I would like to ask you to be so kind as to close this bug report. Thank you very much for your cooperation!
