The problem is not the Intel driver, but the analyzer applet and OpenGL. You can disable the applet by editing the amarok_homerc file located in $HOME/.kde/share/config/ (might be $HOME/.kde4/share/config/ on some distributions. Just remove the analyzer applet in the list of first showing applets in the first section. FWIW: this is already fixed in the upcoming Amarok 2.9 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 323635 *** |
