Description Jonathan Verner 2015-06-03 16:06:24 UTC
When annotating a pdf document I almost always want to save the annotations to the pdf file.

Currently this is possible, but slightly cumbersome, as I have to 'Save As', choose the same file, and hit o.k. on the warning about overwriting a file. A 'Save' menu action would allow me to bind it to a shortcut and do all of these steps in a single keystroke.

Also, an option in the settings to always save the annotations to the pdf file (without explicitly invoking save) would be nice.

Reproducible: Always

I tried implementing the first part (without the option in the settings). The relevant changes are posted to reviewboard for review here: https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/124069/

Sorry for the work you are doing, but the long term plan is described here:

No problem :-)

Note that now I found that this has already been reported (bug #315552) so it should probably be marked as a duplicate. When reporting this wishlist I didn't find the duplicate bugs...
