screenshot showing ambiuousness of puzzle's solution
Sorry for the late reply, I was out of the country for a while. We did try to avoid having ambiguous solutions for the preset puzzles, looks like we must've missed one. Did you have a suggested fix for this particular one? I'm also fine with keeping this one as is since it's a minor difference and looks decent both ways. (In reply to Jakob Gruber from comment #2) > Did you have a suggested fix for this particular one? After thinking about this for a while: how about filling the ball? I have not double checked it, but I suppose that the solution then becomes unambiguous. Git commit 57254a4619ed8ff644bdcad041ebefde60405a24 by Jakob Gruber. Committed on 15/07/2015 at 09:20. Pushed by gruber into branch 'master'. Fix an ambiguous solution to the soccer level Bug report & fix idea by Martin Walch, thanks! Also the puzzle "hourglass" is ambiguous. I attach a screenshot with all but 8 fields solved. It is easy to see that the remaining 8 fields can be solved in 2 ways due to symmetry. I am not 100 % sure, but the solution would probably be unique if e.g. highlighted field was filled instead of blank.
#5: Thanks for reporting. Next time please file a new bug since this is a different (though similar) issue to the one reported 5 years ago ;) |
