Description adamcrume 2015-05-26 18:37:22 UTC
When taking a snapshot in Window Under Cursor mode, KSnapshot captures windows in other activities.

To reproduce:
1. Open window A in activity A.
2. Open window B in activity B and make sure it overlaps with the area occupied by window A, even though window A is not visible.
3. Switch to activity A, then open KSnapshot.
4. Using Window Under Cursor mode, click in an area occupied by window A and window B.
5. Although the snapshot should be of window A, it is of window B.

Two possible workarounds:
- Click on window A before taking the snapshot
- Change KSnapshot from its default of appearing on All Activities to just the current activity

Possibly related to bug 327557.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug. Spectacle is the replacement for ksnapshot now. Please test again and file a new bug for Spectacle if you still have issues. Thank you!
