When kontact opens an email that has an .ics attachment, but no calendar has been created, akonadi seems to hang but Kontact keeps working; however it becomes unable to view or open nay other email.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Delete all calendars.
2. Receive an email with an .ics attachment (use Google calendar for example).
3. Profit!!

Actual Results:  
No email opens.

Expected Results:  
Open any other email.

using akonadictl restart resolves the issue, until the email is viewed again.

This bug is still present.

I am running Akonadi 16.12.3 on Arch Linux.

Thank you for reporting this issue in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version?

I no longer use Akonadi, Kontact or KMail, so I'm unable to provide any new information.
