Description czeidler 2015-05-21 02:56:06 UTC
In focus follows mouse mode, the Intellij IDEA IDE main window gets not reliable activated when moving the mouse over the window; it works the first time but then it does not gets activated any more. Other windows are fine.

I have the following settings (but other settings have the same problem):
Activating windows: focus follows mouse
Delay focus by: 0 ms
Focus stealing prevention: low
Click raises active window: off
Raise on hover: off

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Focus follows mouse
2. Start IDEA and a second window
3. Alternate mouse position between both windows

Actual Results:
IDEA window only gets activate on first mouse over

It was working in KDE4

This might be related to bug 347153
Comment 3 Thomas Lübking 2015-05-21 07:40:36 UTC
Is.
I had seen "unrelibale" focus passing in general. (using FFM + explicit clicks as well)
I've not tested that behavior explicitly afterwards but cannot recall intellij to behave wrongly after the time update.

Pre-emptively duping, please re-open if this still happens with 5.3.1
