Description stefano.d 2015-05-17 11:20:01 UTC
It's the second time, that the taskbar ist hanging, after returning from the screensaver. It is completly freezed. I can't switch between application by taskbar, neither can I open a programm by the taskbar.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Screensaver should run
2. Screensaver should become completly black after a while
3. Return from the screensaver by moving the mouse. Enter your password and you should get a freezed taskbar.

I'm guessing compositing is getting disabled, because I've been having a problem with the panel stopping updating when compositing is suspended for some time now. Could you comment on that?
Comment 2 stefano.d 2015-05-17 13:13:05 UTC
How can I check, if compositing is getting disabled?!
Comment 3 Eike Hein 2015-05-17 13:13:55 UTC
Does the panel still look translucent and have a shadow above it?
Comment 4 stefano.d 2015-05-17 13:17:28 UTC
Well, my panel isn't translucent at all. But, what I can tell you, is that notification don't vanish. I can't click them away. Maybe I've got an notification (that is an email) while my screen was disabled.

Oh, I'm, sorry. After uploading my screenshot, I noticed, my panel is indeed translucent. Next time, I'll will look at this sign.
