Description Alzinger, Guenter 2015-05-06 18:38:22 UTC
I don't find a way to create three folders of type e-mail account for my three e-mails which get all the same basic set of subfolders like inbox, outbox, ..... and which are on the same level (parallel) to the initial "Locale Folder".
It's nearly the same unlucky UI like microsoft.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
There's is nothing to reprocude. It's only that the creation of the folders is not self explanating.
And the manual doesN#t help, too.
I know its voluntary, but try to improve the GUI

Expected Results:
I don't expect anything.

I'm only a little bit ... frustrated.

I would expect that when I click on the inital folder I could assign him an e-mail.
Then creating an additional folder on the same level by a right click in the folder tree, for a second e-mail ( w/ automatic creation of basic e-mail subfolders would be nice), and so on.

I don't understand this feature.
What do you want ?
Comment 2 Alzinger, Guenter 2015-05-07 18:14:39 UTC
In the german manual I see a hardcopy of KMails folderlist which looks like this:
-- Local Folders
 |- inbox
 |- outbox
 |- sent-mail
 |- trash
 |- ...
-- Manonthebench
-- Prosperity
-- scarlettgatelyclark.com
 |- inbox
   |- Firewall Notices

Now I though it would be possible to create a folder list for my three e-mail accounts, two mailing lists and a newsreader like following:
-- guenter.alzinger@alzinger-it.de
 |- in
 |- out
 |- sent
 |- trash
 |- personal folder one
 |- personal folder two
  |- subfolder two.one
  |- subfolder two.two
-- guenter.alzinger@abc.de
 |- in
 |- out
 |- sent
 |- trash
-- guenter.alzinger@fgh.ij
 |- in
 |- out
 |- sent
 |- trash
-- mailinglist number one
 |- mailinglist related items
-- mailing list number two
-- newsreader

But currently I only can create following structure:
-- guenter.alzinger@alzinger-it.de
 |- in
 |- out
 |- sent
 |- trash
 |- guenter.alzinger@abc.de
  |- ...
 |- guenter.alzinger@fgh.ij
  |- ...
  |- ...
 |- mailinglist...

My additonal both emails and the mailing lists are not on the same level than my main e-mail: they are subfolders.

Or did I something wrong? I just walked thru the help but til now I didn't find there any hint.

I hope this helps to understand what I try to say. Yes, my english is not the best.

Best Regards
And forgive me my incomplete report
Guenter Alzinger

PS: I copied this from notepad++. I think it is better to see my structure in a monospace font.
