Description Nikola Schnelle 2015-05-06 16:21:19 UTC
Resizing slider which pops up when widget is resized is not visually differentiated from widget itself. That makes resizing two or more widgets which need to be same size very hard, because you cannot visually differentiate where widget ends and where slider begins.

I think vertical line which separates widget and slider would solve this problem.

Reproducible: Always

Line between handler and widget itself appears only if widget is smaller then the default height of the handler

All the action is in ./containments/desktop/package/contents/ui/AppletAppearance.qml and ./containments/desktop/package/contents/ui/AppletHandle.qml in the plasma-desktop repo. Search for "handleMerged".

I would suggest instead having a different background color for the handle.
Something like a lighter gray or invert the color of the handle completely including the buttons.
It would remove the need for a separation line altogether.
I believe this would be more visually appealing.

Sounds like a good patch opportunity. :)
