Show desktop hide windows but display a part, bottom right, of the windows in the top left corner
Just to be sure we talk about the same bug I add this screenshot
Why optionally ? Show desktop is supposed to totally hide all the windows. Oh ok I thought it was a bug but it's the "Window aperture effect" from the "Desktop effect". I didn't understand that. If I disable it the "Show desktop" behavor is normal... Yes - the remaining window textures (windows are gone and you cannot interact with them) are supposed to hint the state. Interestingly I was told that long ago compiz used to have the same feature =) An alternative transitional ("stock" - you can write the scripted effect of your dream) effect is btw. "eye On Screen". *** Bug 356238 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I kind of like the fact that the windows are still visible on the corners. But I think that clicking on any of them should restore the windows to their original positions at a minimum. *** Bug 404496 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** It no longer shows the windows in screen corners. |
