Description illumilore 2015-05-04 18:17:32 UTC
I set up a cron task using kcron, but any program that is a gui such as redshift will never work if set up by kcron. No error is given at the scheduled program launch time. It seems to not work with any program that has a gui.

opensuse 13.2

Reproducible: Always

So bug 340002 comment #4 no longer works? See also bug 340002 comment #2.

I forgot about that. but it stopped working. I think it might be opensuse bug though as it is saying x connection refused or something.

So is it possible to add a toggle for "run as gui app"? The current method of assuming the user knows about this DISPLAY=0 doesn't seem user friendly.
