Can you please post a screenshot of that notification? Also, there was a bug in notifications code which is fixed with Plasma 5.3 and Frameworks 5.10. Hi Martin, Please find below the link of the screenshot http://imgur.com/XtGAvM5 I have received an email from you, the notification on the right side never fade away and I am not able to see other notifications sent the first one. Thank you for your assistance, Ok so this is not Plasma notification, but Ubuntu's NotifyOSD, which unfortunately starts before Plasma and basically takes away the notifications from it. Furthermore, there is a problem with KNotifications < 5.10 and NotifyOSD, resulting exactly in the behavior you're describing. Once you'll update knotifications package, it will work just fine. Now, to use actual Plasma notification system, you can either uninstall notify-osd package, which would however (probably) break notifications when in Unity, or you can create a simple autostart script that will kill it when you log into your Plasma session. Finally, for future reference, please always use the "Add attachment" link here in bugzilla (below the comment box) as 3rd party site links can expire anytime, making the screenshot useless. Thank you very much for your comment. Terminating NotifyOSD in Plasma works fine.. Regards |
