Description RJVB 2015-05-03 17:38:26 UTC
Some time after version 1.8.18-76-ge3e2325 (jan. 27th 2015) a change was made that makes QtCurve's GTk2 engine ignore a user's "no icons in menu" setting.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure KDE and/or GTk2 *not* to show icons in buttons
2. Select the QtCurve theme engine for GTk2
3. Open any application that has buttons

Actual Results:
buttons show icons

Expected Results:
buttons don't show icons

I uploaded screenshots to bug 343778 .

I'm actually not sure how I configured GTk2 not to show icons in buttons (I don't use a GTk-based desktop on OS X, of course), but none of the other themes I tried show these icons.
