Description pdf 2015-04-28 14:48:30 UTC
Qt: 5.4.1
KDE Frameworks: 5.9.0
Konsole: 3.0.1

I've bound a key via khotkeys that sends the keyboard input 'Ctrl+a'. When I press the trigger key, konsole ignores the ctrl bit and sends 'a' to the terminal. I've verified that the state includes the control bit using xev, so this is a konsole problem, not a khotkeys problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a Custom Shortcut that binds a key to Ctrl+<char>
2. Press trigger key when konsole is active

Actual Results:
See <char> sent to terminal

Expected Results:
See Ctrl+<char> sent to terminal

May be related to bug:336638 that apparently affects wayland support, possibly also bug:345476. Keyboard input looks like it's still a bit rough.
