Hi there

the other day I installed Kubuntu 15.04 and added the Kubuntu Beta 5.3 PPA repos.

However I noticed that the locale settings in Kubuntu 15.04 are one big mess.

Generally I like to have the interface in english yet use Swiss German settings for date, time, currency, paper size etc.

According to the #kubuntu help channel I did set the following in the Systemsettings/Region -> Formats dialog screen:

Region: US/American English

[checked ]Detailed Settings
Numbers: Switzerland de_CH
Time: Switzerland de_CH
Currency: Switzerland de_CH
Measruements Units: Switzerland de_CH
Collation and Sorting: Switzerland de_CH

So, my system clock shows now nicely the time and date format: HH:ii dd.mm.YYYY

However in Dolphin date entries show: mm/dd/YY hh:ii am/pm

An in the terminal it's even more weird. There, the interface language is German

I have an according screenshot here: http://images.sjau.ch/img/1fb57908.png

Another weird thing is that Gimp is also German instead of english.

Reproducible: Always
