Windows 7 + Digikam 4.9.0 Beta
890 GB of JPG and RAW images
After hours creating database, digikam splash screen is closed, and then digikam windows in white appear, with a modal window telling a error happened.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Launch digikam
2.Wait till splash screen is auto closed


Actual Results:  
digikam crashed

Expected Results:  
To see photos thumbnails

Without any MSVC debugger backtrace or at least a debugview backtrace, it's impossible to investiguate.

I can do it, with the free tool that you consider more useful for you. Crashes now are now appearing even doing some  ShowPhoto effects. Moreover, in Digikam screen content appears many times in black, without thumbnails, only showing the Window decoration and menus.

An additional question, I consider that this is not resolved, but "UNCONFIRMED" + "WAITINGFORINFO", to avoid to open a new bug later. Am I wrong?

New digiKam 4.11.0 is available with official PKG installer for OSX.

Till now, there is no issues in Windows with 4.11 version, but it's desesperately slow on each launching (over 2000 images in folders on a internal disk).
