I would like to do this JJ. I am new here and I use Amarok as my primary Music Player. I'd like to do something for it. Is this bug okay for someone new as me. Any tips for where to look in the codebase. PS : I have subscribed to the mailing list, where I got its notification. Adity: hi and welcome. Yes, feel free to have a look, the first thing to explore is to check if the sources have changed. My podcast subscriptions do work, so I don't think the problem is the podcast stack as a whole, more likely it is the actually OPML directory having changed its URL. There were changes to the URL formats at some point that caused problems, namely in the UTF-8 formatting in the saved playlists, maybe this is also a path to explore. By that, do you mean checking the source from the previous build to see if anything's changed ? The bug is not reproducible in KDE Platform 4.14.2 http://s9.postimg.org/75qvocb8v/snapshot1.png http://s15.postimg.org/hxt9qy6mj/snapshot2.png Weird, it still doesn't work for me, so maybe it is the distribution I did build it on. Closing for now, we need to see if this will be reproducible by others once the beta is out. |
