if i disable compositing via shift-alt-f12 and then reenable it, only the kwin windows get the compositing back, the hotcorners work, virtual desktop effects work, but not the panel!

using kquitapp plasmashell && plasmashell & doesnt bring the compositing effects back in the panel.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. shift - alt -f12
2. check that compositing is off (effects should be off)
3. shift - alt -f12
4. effects are back on BUT the panel is still not transparent and its in "x11 render mode"

Actual Results:  
 the panel is still not transparent and its in "x11 render mode"

Expected Results:  
the panel should get the effects back as they were before the shift -alt -f12

i want to add that by "x11 render mode" i mean the panel doesnt have any transparencies or shadows, but all the other windows do (like firefox), and the 3d effects are enabled (multiple desktop, transparencies in x11 windows, etc), just the panel remains in 2d land.
