For reasons I don't know and currently don't care about connecting to facebook results in an invalid certificate warning. Since facebooks certificate should be valid I choose not to proceed. And since this happens every few weeks I select the option to remember my response. But it doesn't. And some time later I get the same window again.


Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. connect to facebook via jabber
2. have "luck" and get invalid certificate warning
3. deny invalid certificate and tick "remember"
4. connect again to facebook
5. have more "luck" and get invalid certificate again

Actual Results:  
Kopete asks what it should do with this certificate.

Expected Results:  
Kopete remembers not to trust this certificate and cancels the connection attempt.

I've attached a screenshot of the warning that appears. I'm afraid it's in german, the text says:
The identity and the certificate for the server chat.facebook.com can't be verified for the mynickname@chat.facebook.com:
The certificate is invalid.
The certificate authority is invalid.
Do you want to continue?

One more thing: The Kopete version is 1.6.60 which I couldn't select in the list above. But I've noticed this behavior since quite some time.

As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists.

If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.

Since I stopped using kopete and facebook quite some time ago I can't confirm if this is still the case.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
