Description Jim 2015-04-14 16:06:42 UTC
Kleopatra is fantastic for encrypting/compressing all the files in one or more folder(s) to a single archive (tar). In my case I have over 200 folders that I want to individually encrypt where each folder will have its own encrypted/compressed archive (tar). Instead of manually encrypting/compressing all the files in each folder to single archive (tar) files (of the same name as the folder), I'd like:
1. Possibly a checkbox option to create individual encrypted/compressed archive (tar) files for each folder.
2. Have Kleopatra output to log all the commands it uses (gpg, gpgtar...) to accomplish creating the encrypted/compressed archive (tar) so I can write some code to go through all my folders and create the folder archives one at a time.

See steps to reproduce for the steps I'm following to create my folder archive file in Kleopatra.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. File, Sign/Encrypt Files
2. Select files & click Open
3. Check "Archive Files with:"
4. Specify a <x>.tar value for "Archive name (OpenPGP)"
5. Select Sign and Encrypt (OpenPGP only)
6. Click Next
7. Select my certificate and click Next
8. Click Sign & Encrypt
