Is this still an issue in Krita 2.9.4? I have an AMD X4 II 640 3GHz and 8Gb of ram but i get 3 seconds for a A4(300ppi), 4-5 secs for A4(600ppi), but much more if i set the color to be 16bit. So along with the first question, which settings were you using? On my sp3, if I create a 16 bits 600 dpi A4 document it takes a long time, but that's not too strange, it's really underpowered and has very little memory. 8 bits 300 dpi A4 is pretty much instant with 2.9.4. Is this still an issue with the newest version? (2.9.5.1 at the time). I know there have been quite a few improvements with the speed of Krita loading. Krita appears quite fast for me now with the recent updates. I am on Windows 7 (64-bit) Hi JayH, Can you please try the latest version of Krita. As suggested by others in the comments above. Due to lack of response I am closing this issue for now, if you think you are still facing this issue, please feel free to re-open this bug report thank you |
