This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months. Created attachment 101313 [details]
the issue in akregator 5.1.3
akregator 5.1.3 on KDE Framework 5.18.0 (using Qt 5.5.1 and compiled against Qt 5.5.1)
The bug is still present in akregator 5.1.3 even if a bit better than in 4.x (attachment added). Link text overflows on the left, some letters at right border are not visible (fi. look at "with details shared in public with" in fourth paragraph). There is also another letter spacing issue in text "Oct 1st, 2014" in 5th paragraphs. If you need me to make different text, I'm willing to help. Gabriele, thanks so far for the reply. If some dev needs your assistance on this, they will probably come back to you. akregator 5.1.x still used KHtml I switched to QtWebKit in 5.2.x I switched to QtWebEngine in 5.3.x So we need to test in new version. For testing it we need to know which is the feed url. Regards The feed url is http://googleprojectzero.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default The bug is visible also in newer posts, f.i. in "Return to libstagefright: exploiting libutils on Android" posted on 2016-09-07. |
