Using the path tools while invoking the color picker will pick a color but also draws a path. Making it impossible to just color pick while using the path tools.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Selec freehand path tool.
2.Invoke color picker by pressing Control Button.
3.Pick a color from the canvas. 

Actual Results:  
Pick a color from the canvas and draws a path.

Expected Results:  
Pick a color from the canvas

I can confirm. I'm on Ubuntu 14.04 Unity. See video in attachment. 
It happens with the tool "Freehand Path Tool" and partly with "Bezier Curve Tool". 

(oddly (?), it seems you can't undo the strokes after, with the "Freehand Path Tool").
