To see at one glance if "Enable Power Mangement" option is disabled (e.g. while watching a video) and not to forget to reenable it, add some kind of (maybe reddish) overlay icon to the battery widget's icon.

There may be a pause icon - https://thenounproject.com/search/?q=pause%20icon - or some sort of presentation icon - https://thenounproject.com/term/presentation/229135/ in the bottom right corner of battery icon if Power Management is disabled.

Hmm, I looked into this but couldn't really find anything that looked good and communicated the information.

I agree this is a problem. It's kinda ironic the suspend-inhibited icon only shows when I'm plugged in and not at risk of fully discharging.

Nowadays we have badges for power profiles: https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/breeze-icons/-/merge_requests/376 . Maybe we could add a badge for inhibition status too?
