Description Ed Greshko 2015-03-11 03:37:37 UTC
I have the ibus input method installed and enabled. I can enter Chinese and Japanese into applications such a libreoffice write and kwrite. However, this is impossible in konsole. I am unable to use "vi" for example to enter some simple non-English characters.

Reproducible: Always

Thanks for the bug report Ned and apologies for the delayed response.

Are you able to please confirm if this issue still occurs on a recent version of konsole?

This is no longer an issue with konsole5-20.08.1-1.fc33.
It may have been fixed earlier, but I rarely use vi and entering
Chinese or Japanese these days.
