By dragging and moving a window, do you mean dragging a task button or, well, a window on screen? I clicked and held on a windows titlebar. Then an open with event made firefox open a new tab, and firefox was on a different desktop than the one I was moving the window at the time. The open with made the desktop switch to firefox's while I was moving the window. Plasma then crashed. I then recreated that, and plasma crashed again. ^ Thank you, will investigate. I've been unable to reproduce this crash so far, with the following test setup: 1. Task Manager instance with default config 2. Firefox open on Desktop 2 3. sleep 5s; firefox "http://www.kde.org/" in a Konsole window in desktop 1 4. Drag the Konsole in desktop 1 while the timer runs 5. At time out, Firefox causes a desktop switch and opens kde.org in a new tab Could you please attach a screenshot of your Task Manager config? "Task Manager config?" I don't know what you mean by task manager. I use htop as a task manager. I tried recreating it some more, and it seems to be able to happen without having to drag a window, and plasmashell crashed the first time from the change desktop to focus on firefox only, but not when I tried it a couple more times after that. Task Manager is the name of the widget in your panel that shows buttons for all open windows -- sorry, I guess it wasn't clear that the crash backtrace you posted ends in the Task Manager's code (that's why your ticket got assigned to the Task Manager product).
