Are you using btrfs filesystem on your root partition? This is the default for a fresh install. Yes, brtfs on root. I hope I found what went wrong. I deleted folders .kde4
and .local on level 2 and then came up to 5 without problems. Is that a
recommended procedure when updating KDE? Never done it before.

You need to update kernel to 3.17 or switch to ext4 fs. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 340657 *** |
